We are seeking a skilled React Native Developer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our team at HeavyTask, LLC. As a React Native Developer, you will be developing and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mobile application development, particularly with React Native, and an eye for design.

What You’ll Do

Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native framework
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Work with native modules and APIs when required
Experience with Google Play Store and App Store submission and deployment
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
Implement and maintain a continuous integration and delivery process

What You’ll Need

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in React Native development (we’re open to make exceptions for highly skilled candidates)
Strong knowledge of Metro, New Architecture, the underlying working of Turbo Native Modules and Fabric Native Components
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript and their nuances
Knowledge of Expo, Expo Application Services and Fastlane
Hands-on experience with native build tools, such as XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, etc.
Experience with RESTful APIs and unit testing
Building reusable components and libraries based on wireframes and development requirements
Effective communication skills and attention to detail

Additional Points

Previous experience with native mobile development with Swift and/or Kotlin
Knowledge of best practices regarding mobile application security
Contributions to open-source projects or personal mobile apps available in the App Store or Google Play Store
Demonstrable experience in writing E2E and integration tests
