We define the project scope, objectives, and timeline during the planning stage. This helps to ensure that the project is defined correctly and that the team understands the deliverables and timeline. We identify the stakeholders and their roles and responsibilities and set up collaboration tools and processes to ensure that the team can work together effectively.

Regarding development, after envisioning the code and applications best suited to develop your project, we begin writing the code, creating databases, and installing the necessary infrastructure. Once this stage is completed, we package the code into an executable file and forward it to the next phase.

2. Testing:

During the testing stage, our DevOps consultants perform tests to ensure that the applications and code are functioning correctly and are secure. This includes running tests to check the functionality and security of the applications.

Additionally, we ensure that the applications and services are resilient and perform well under load. Lastly, we test the applications and services in different environments to ensure they are compatible with different platforms and devices. 

By having access to ongoing DevOps support, we can ensure that our testing processes are always up to date and that we can quickly and reliably deliver their products and services to customers. 

3. Integration

During this phase, we combine various components of the development process into a unified whole. This stage involves collecting the various components from different teams and environments and integrating them together. This could include merging code from multiple developers, merging different software product versions, and other activities related to creating a unified software product. 

The integration stage aims to create a unified product that meets your requirements. This requires careful planning, careful execution, and communication between the various teams involved in the process. Integration is often an iterative process, where each iteration is tested and evaluated to ensure that the product meets its requirements.

4. Deployment:

During the deployment stage, our DevOps consultants deploy the applications and services to production. This includes deploying the application to the relevant servers, setting up the necessary infrastructure, ensuring the code is correctly deployed on all servers, etc.

5. Monitoring:

During the monitoring stage, our team monitors the performance of the applications and services in production. This is done through several steps, including recording vital information about the use of the software, analyzing and correcting system errors, defining the roots of any technical issues, etc.

We also strive to define the project’s metrics and KPIs to measure the project’s success.

6. Automation: 

This is a reasonably new phase in the DevOps life cycle. We implemented this phase into our DevOps life cycle because of utilizing it with some of our previous and existing clients.

During the automation phase, our DevOps consultants use automated tools and processes to manage the complexity of the applications and services. The automation phase includes testing automation, infrastructure automation, deployment automation, etc. 

Essentially, this phase is where we try implementing automation to some of the other DevOps life cycle phases to increase overall efficiency and reduce errors.
