Aloha Patch LLC, is a startup CBD patch company based in Boston, Massachusetts wanted logos, branding materials, website along with other support to help kick off their brand. Since the company was in the process of being created, they tried to find a creative and technical partner who can help them with all the different aspects of launching a successful brand with the right strategy.

Aloha Patch wanted their brand to stand out and make a statement. Their logo needed the right blend of both playful and also corporate look and feel. For sales and tracing, a robust, user-friendly website is required along with an easy to use shopping cart and payment processing system.

HeavyTask LLC provided Aloha Patch with the consulting and guidance needed to get things off the ground. We provided Aloha Patch with several logo options from which the client found the one which best exemplified their brand style. For the website and eCommerce solution, we suggested using the most popular content management system (cms) WordPress with WooCommerce plugin because of the fact it’s easy to use and also a very cost-effective solution for stores with minimal product lists. For payment processing, we decided to use a PayPal business account to process all credit card and PayPal transactions.

Overall the project was a great success for both HeavyTask and Aloha Patch; we were able to launch the website under 45 working business days as we anticipated. Often we work with new companies who want to get something up and running or want an MVP (minimum viable product), which allows them to test the market and start getting some sales to re-invest back into the business.
